Kia ora,

My name is Emma and I was born and raised in Waitaha, with Ōtautahi being home.  I'm a out and proud member of the Rainbow community and have a strong passion for social justice, equity, and human rights for everyone.

My current role is People Lead & Lead Health Navigator.  This involves direct leadership for some of the team, providing training and supporting quality improvements, co-facilitating workshops, and having a caseload.

I began my social services career in the late 90s and have experience in supporting children, youth and adults, alongside roles within the rainbow community, leadership, training & education, and community health.

I value leading with empathy, and am passionate about supporting the development of others and highlighting/building on individual strengths.

Kia ora,

My name is Maureen and I was born in Christchurch with Banks Peninsula being my turangawaewae.  I have two adult children and live with my wife and our dog, Millie.

I am an experienced and compassionate registered social worker (SWRB) with a passion for guiding and supporting social work professionals in their professional development.

I am currently employed as a Team Lead within the health sector. With over 20 year’s experience in social services, I have worked with homeless men and woman and worked in AOD and injury rehabilitation. I have served as a field educator, supervisor and mentor, helping social workers hone their skills, and navigate ethical dilemmas.

I am committed to fostering a culture of learning, growth, and self-reflection within the social work community. I conduct individual supervision sessions to address specific challenges, enhance social work competencies, and promote self-care among supervisees. I engage in ongoing professional development through participation in workshops, conferences, and peer consultation, to ensure my own ongoing training and upskilling.
